Looking for an affordable family outing that’s big on smiles? At Turquoise Acres Ranch you’ll meet our longhorns, calves, donkeys, ponies, pigs, goats, sheep, peacocks, ducks, and chickens—each with a quirky personality and a soft spot for treats.
Admission is just $10 per person (ages 3+) and includes the petting zoo, the playground, and a bag of animal feed. Sunday Funday is even sweeter—only $5 per guest ages 3+ every Sunday. Ages 2 and under are always free.
Book any Special Experience and get one free farm entry per paid guest.
We offer field trip and group rates to parties of 10 or more. Adults and children love the ranch and will enjoy learning about our friendly animals, petting and feeding them, and just running around in the fresh air.
Picnic lunches are encouraged, grab a spot at a picnic table or under a giant shade tree.
2 hours: $8 per person, 3 hours: $10 per person. Teachers are free, parent chaperones $5 each for schools and daycare centers

Cows may not be the first animal you think of for cuddling, but trust us, these gentle calves love soft pats and will melt your heart with their big brown eyes. What makes the experience truly special is their calm, steady nature. Research has shown that spending time with animals—especially those with slower heart rates like cows—can lower stress, reduce anxiety, and even help regulate blood pressure.

Ever wondered what it’s like to work on a ranch? Our 1 hour Farm Chores experience gives you the chance to get hands-on—feeding animals, tending to their spaces, and learning the rhythm of daily ranch life. Beyond the fun, studies show that light physical activity combined with purposeful tasks can improve mood, increase mindfulness, and provide a sense of accomplishment.
Being outdoors adds its own benefits: fresh air, natural light, and a break from screens. It’s a simple way to connect with the land, the animals, and yourself—all while rolling up your sleeves for a little work and a lot of reward.

After your farm adventures, relax at the Longhorn Lounge. Sip on refreshing margaritas, crisp mimosas, local wine, and ice-cold beers, or enjoy a soda or water while you take in the ranch atmosphere.

On weekends, our friends serve up delicious goodies right here at the ranch: Daddy Duncan’s BBQ, Gertie Leigh’s Cheesecakes, and Texas Sno Snoballs. They’re typically open Saturday–Sunday, 1–5 PM.
Vendors set their own hours during the week—peek at their socials to see when they’ll be serving during your visit. You can also ask them about hiring them for your private event.
Outside food and picnics are welcome. While outside alcohol is prohibited, we do offer a curated selection of beer and wine for purchase at our new Longhorn Lounge.
